Fangs Table

The Fangs table project explored the force of tension and how it could be implemented into a piece of furniture. It is demonstrated in the Fangs Table by the torte wire between the curved Walnut legs.

This design utalises multiple interesting aspects such as, an octagonal centre piece which pushes the legs outwards, and makes the structure strong. This design also incorportates the outter white sap parts of the wood to excentuate and lift the striking curves of the design. This is a visual aspect which I encorporated to elevate the piece visually.
